We’ve Got Worms! I first got interested in red worms when I thought they would do all the work in my compost pile saving me the manual labor of turning it by hand. With research I found my hypothesis to be incorrect—however it did spike an interest. I am now a proud owner of 2000 red worms here at the Roost and a surrogate to over 6000 worms at my school. What does that add up to? Some mighty fine vermicompost, that’s what! Stop by and meet my red wiggly friends.
